The Oregon Medical Group Management Association (OMGMA) is offering two (2) scholarships up to the amount of $500 each to current OMGMA Member(s). These scholarships may only be used to attend the 2022 Pacific Northwest Medical Management Conference taking place May 17 – 19, 2022 at the Holiday Inn Columbia Riverfront in Portland, Oregon.
A total of 9.0 ACMPE Live CE hours will be available for this conference.
Applicants must meet all required criteria in the Conference Scholarship Policy. This scholarship is non-transferable and may only be awarded to an OMGMA Member once in five years.
Applications may be submitted for a period of 60 days starting 90 days before the conference begins. Applications will not be accepted 30 days prior to conference. Application submission window for the 2022 Pacific Northwest MGMA Conference begins Wednesday, February 16th, 2022 and ends Sunday, April 17th, 2022

The Conference Planning Committee is currently accepting concurrent session presentation submissions for the 2022 Pacific Northwest Medical Management Conference. OHA recognizes that communities of color and disabled communities are disproportionally impacted by COVID-19, and without collection and reporting of REALD data for COVID-19 encounters these inequities cannot be adequately tracked and measured. The state’s response to mitigating the spread and health impacts of COVID-19 for the purpose of service provision, including but not limited to: testing, education, outreach, wrap services and vaccine distribution will continue to be impaired if it does not have reliable REALD data.

They are reviewing potential changes to the way data is collected - no details yet but my fingers are crossed that they'll come up with a way that doesn't require so much staff interaction at the clinic while trying to see patients. In the meantime we'll continue to try and figure out how we can actually make this happen before the end of the year. Who knows! Maybe COVID will be gone by then! Yep. Optimist.....at least some of the time.
FELLOW (FACMPE) SCHOLARSHIP
The Oregon Medical Group Management Association is offering (2) scholarships up to the amount of $1,000 each to current OMGMA member(s) to assist in attending the MGMA National Conference in the actual year the FACMPE designation is earned.
The 2021 MGMA National Conference is scheduled for October 24-27 in San Diego , CA.
Applicant(s) must be a current OMGMA Member in good standing for 2 or more years.
Applicants must meet all required qualifications stipulated in the attached New Fellow (FACMPE) Scholarship Policy.
This scholarship is non-transferable and may only be awarded to an OMGMA Member one time.
The deadline for submitting this application and supporting materials is between July 1st and September 1st. Scholarship winners will be announced by October 1st.

This award recognizes a medical practice professional serving as a state MGMA legislative liaison volunteer who has provided outstanding leadership in the education and motivation of MGMA members through grassroots and advocacy involvement on legislative and regulatory issues of importance to medical group practices.
Christi is the Immediate Past President of Oregon MGMA, serves as co-chair of the association's Legislative Committee and is the Chief Executive Officer for Grants Pass Clinic LLC.
Oregon MGMA is fortunate to have Christi serving as a member of our Board and as our state Legislative Liaison with MGMA. Congratulations Christi and thank you for all of your hard work!

OMGMA Annual Conference Cancellation Announcement
The Oregon MGMA Board of Directors has determined it is impossible to hold our Annual Conference given the current government bans, burden, and stresses being placed on the healthcare system and workers at this critical time.
The Annual Conference was scheduled for June 3-5, 2020 at the Riverhouse on the Deschutes in Bend, OR.
The wellness of our members, partners, and supporters as well as the patients represented by our member organizations is first and foremost to us.
