Position Summary:
Manage daily operations of the Tigard office.
Typical Physical Demands:
Requires ability to hear and have a clear audible speaking voice. Prolonged sitting, bending, stooping and stretching.
Typical Working Conditions:
Normal clinic environment. May include some at-home work, evening meetings and occasional local travel between offices.
Educational Requirements:
Associates Degree in Business Administration, Medical Office Management or equivalent experience. Bachelor Degree, preferred. Certified Medical Assistant/LPN preferred.

- Contribute and participate in strategic planning for the Practice.

- Demonstrate good judgment and decision making skills.
- Work as part of a team to provide excellent care to patients and their families.
- Develop and maintain Policies and Procedures.
- Manage site within budget parameters.
Examples of Duties:
- Frequent face to face interaction with Tigard clinical and administrative staff.
- Excellent Customer Service Skills.
- Daily interaction with Physicians/Staff.
- Recruit, Hire, and Train personnel as required to assure efficient and effective office workflow.
- Maintain personnel files for each employee.
- Authorize overtime
- Scheduling time off requests, coverage of temporary vacant positions, approving time clocks on a bi-weekly basis.
- Actively seek ways to improve levels of practice performance.
- Eight to ten hour days spent on written work, phone calls, computer use and direct supervision of staff.
- Responsible for communication between all groups in the office and between sites, i.e., providers, management, lab front desk, medical records and billing department.
- Coordinate/delegate weekly schedules for staff, including vacations, ill calls, etc.
- Encourage teamwork and include staff in the problem-solving and decision making process.
- Manage resources within budget parameters. Consider cost efficiencies.
- Prepare and update department job descriptions and supervise and monitor staff performance.
- Anticipate future needs and improve quality or efficiency of process and services.
- Make recommendations regarding daily operations as appropriate to the practice administrator and the physician executive committee.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the physician manager and practice administrator.
- Adheres to PANW office management policies and procedures.
