Accountant - Full Time

The Children’s Clinic is the premier pediatric clinic in the Northwest with a history of over 100 years. We are currently recruiting to fill an Accountant position at our SW Portland location.

Position Overview:

The Accountant position will be responsible to prepare balance sheets, profit and loss statements and other financial reports.  Responsibilities will include forecasting trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments and obligations incurred to predict future revenues, and expenses. This position will report organizations finances to the CEO and leadership, offering suggestions for best practices in finance reporting, resource allocation and utilization, tax strategies, and assumptions impacting underlying budget forecasts.

Required:

Intermediate knowledge of accounting principles, procedures, and reporting standards.  Awareness of business trends in accounting. Experience of creating financial statements, general ledger functions, and month/year end closing.  Attention to detail and accuracy with aptitude for quantitative skills.  Deadline oriented. 2 to 3 years of previous accounting experience.

Preferred:

Experience with any medical EMA such as GE Centricity PM, or Epic.  Experience with Sage or related application.  Experience with analysis tools, such as Tableau.

Education:

Bachelor’s Degree in finance or related field of study.

Salary:

$45-60K DOE in related field. Competitive benefit package to include: medical, dental, vision insurance; life, short and long Term insurance; plus a generous 401k.
