The Oregon MGMA will host our annual Fall Conference October 6 — 8, 2010 at the beautiful Resort at the Mountain in Welches, Oregon. Nestled in the western highland of Mt. Hood less than an hour southeast of Portland, The Resort at The Mountain is a premier Oregon golf and meeting resort. With a unique ambiance, exceptional service, and the natural beauty of national forests— and clear running streams, The Resort offers numerous experiences. Recently renovated, the 157 guestrooms and suites provide spa like amenities. The Resort at the Mountain is truly an escape from the ordinary.
This year's theme in keeping with the rugged beauty of the mountainous setting and the current political climate of healthcare: Guidance through the Oregon Healthcare Wilderness.
In addition to great educational sessions and enticing prize Give Aways, our annual golf scramble will be played on the 27 hole championship golf course. This is a wonderful opportunity for novice golfers to participate and learn about the game while benefiting from the "old pros" skill set. Truly a great experience for all! Thursday will be all day educational sessions and speakers and capping the day with Tony Starlight Show offering music and comedy extravaganza for the evening entertainment. A very special Friday morning is being planned to complete our exciting conference.
Again this year we will provide low cost registration and accommodations, high quality education and networking. This year we will be rolling out a two-track educational conference. The second track will begin on Thursday at 10 am and you will be able to invite your billing, coding and/or office staff to join in this excellent educational opportunity. There will be additional time to spend meeting and exchanging ideas with our sponsors and exhibitors.
We look forward to an exceptional conference at The Resort. We anticipate you joining us for an outstanding educational value and an opportunity for you to meet new friends and colleagues, reconnect with others, participate in a vital educational environment, learn about products and services available to our profession, and time to relax and have fun doing it!

Download the New OMGMA Bylaws...
The new bylaws for the OMGMA were passed at the May 18 business meeting at the Oregon Washington Joint Conference in Portland.
The book of work looking forward to complete this document will include several policies and charters to be crafted, and a decision regarding whether or not our valued vendors will be offered the opportunity to enter a partner relationship with OMGMA, or if they will be invited to become affiliate members of the organization. Please consider volunteering to become a committee chair or member, and stay tuned for more communication..
