Executive Director - Portland, OR

We are a highly Successful Pediatric Group with 5 consecutive years as a MGMA Best Practice, 22 providers and 4 clinics in the Portland area, with an exceptional opportunity for an Executive Director whose successes are grounded in promoting clinical excellence and exceptional patient care, building positive cultures, strong fiscal and business management and optimizing the skills and talents of a management team to achieve continued success. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 10 yrs comprehensive healthcare experience in comparable executive leadership roles; breadth and depth of knowledge of the Portland healthcare market; experience in practice management; pediatric experience preferred (but not required); Master’s degree preferred. The Team: The Executive Director oversees and works with a management team that includes the business office, accounting and finance, IT, clinic management, and administration.

Overview:
  • Works in partnership with and alongside the President and Executive Committee.
  • Directs and has oversight of daily operations e.g. business, administrative, clinical and financial functions of the organization.
  • Demonstrates commitment to and role models the Vision, Mission and Goals of the organization to ensure our continued success.
  • Understands and promotes the clinical benchmarks and business performance metrics to secure our position as a local and national leader in healthcare.
  • Ensures the continued financial viability of the organization.
The Executive Director will serve as an Ambassador for the organization, shape and promote a culture consistent with the underpinnings of the Mission and Vision, advocate for compassionate care of the patients and their families, continuously strive for clinical excellence and recruit/retain a management team able to deliver those values.
